NGO Yuri Yegorov Fund was founded in Odessa in 2013 with the aim of popularizing and researching Ukrainian visual art, enriching and diversifying the art space of Ukraine. The main task of the Foundation is to study and popularize the creative work of the famous Ukrainian artist of the second half of the twentieth century, Yuriy Yegorov. In addition, the Foundation also focuses on the powerful original artistic movement of the 1960-80’s “Odessa Nonconformism”, which is associated with the work of Yegorov. Yuriy Yegorov never belonged to the Odessa non-conformist group, but acted as a senior colleague and interlocutor and significantly influenced young artists. Among the main areas of the Fund’s activities are cataloging and digitizing works and archives of Yuriy Yegorov, organizing exhibitions, preparing and printing publications devoted to Egorov and non-conformists in Odessa.
